Phil Lucachick
Philip Lucachick is a consulting engineer with a track record of successfully supporting technology start-ups, integrating new information and security technology into subscription-based consumer services, and managing complex radio frequency coordination and utilization assignments.

Phil is one of the principal consultants who conducted the City of Folsom’s Wi-Fi/WiMAX feasibility study and he continues to consult on the deployment of that system. He has supported Tellus Venture Associates in wireless, satellite and information technology system evaluation and development, including studies for the Cities of Los Angeles and Oakland.

He is responsible for much of the underlying network technology that launched U.S. Satellite Broadcasting, Inc. and still supports DirecTv. His clients have included major telecoms carriers, digital cable companies, and consumer-oriented networking and digital content ventures.

Phil served on frequency coordination and modeling committees for the International Telecommunications Union, on the Advanced Television Systems Committee and on the board of the Satellite Broadcasting and Communications Association.

He is affiliated with the Society of Cable Television Engineers, the Society of Satellite Professionals International and the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, and holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota and an M.B.A. in Finance from the University of Hawaii.
