The California Emerging Technology Fund (CETF) funds
developmental broadband projects California. Its third
annual Rural Connections workshop in Redding on 13 and
13 May 2010 featured representatives from CETF, the
California Public Utlities Commission, the federal
Rural Utilities Service, including administrator
Jonathan Adelstein, and several regional broadband
consortia. Presenters provided updates on grant and
loan programs and other community broadband resources.
